About

Polynovatec was founded by members of the group of Professor Jerome Claverie.  Their discovery received the Quebec Sciences Discovery of the Year prize in 2016, as showcased in this video (in French).   During the last two years, several group members of the Claverie laboratory demonstrated that polynorbornenes have unique applicability for conducting inks, high temperature dispersants, high-Tg bisphenol-free epoxys, or as fibers.  Together, the group members decided it was time to create a company... and thus started Polynovatec.
